PDO threads stimulate collagen production and tissue contraction, and are absorbed by the body within about six months. They’re used to smooth the skin, soften facial lines, lift the neck and improve acne scarring.
Over two days you’ll cover the theory, watch your tutor demonstrate the treatment and then practise on models.

On successful completion you’ll receive a certificate from Studio E.F. Aesthetic & Beauty Training, which you can use to apply for insurance and offer treatments to clients.

Injectable treatments carry clinical risk and must be carried out safely and with suitable insurance. The UK Government has confirmed plans for a licensing scheme for non-surgical cosmetic procedures in England, but it is not yet in force (October 2026). We keep our students up to date and guide you on insurance and the right qualification path.
