This course takes your dermal filler skills to the next level. You’ll learn to assess the face as a whole and plan treatments for cheeks, jawline, chin and the lower face, using cannula technique alongside needle where appropriate.
The morning covers theory, product selection and safety; the rest of the day is hands-on practice on live models, with close supervision in a small group.
Practitioners who have completed a basic dermal fillers course and want to offer more advanced facial treatments with confidence.

Arrive at 9:45am. We start at 10am with facial anatomy, assessment, product selection and safety.
Practise cannula techniques on live models in a small group, with your tutor beside you.
Review consent, aftercare and complication management. The day finishes at 4pm.
On successful completion you’ll receive a certificate from Studio E.F. Aesthetic & Beauty Training [CONFIRMAR: CPD-accredited?], which you can use to apply for insurance and offer treatments to clients.

Cosmetic filler injections are banned for under-18s in England. The UK Government has confirmed plans for a licensing scheme for non-surgical cosmetic procedures, but it is not yet in force (October 2026). We keep our students up to date and guide you on insurance and the right qualification path, including Qualifi Level 5 and Level 7.
Yes. This is an advanced course, so you need to have completed a basic dermal fillers course first.
A cannula is a thin, flexible tube with a blunt tip. It allows the product to be placed through fewer entry points and is commonly used for areas such as the cheeks and jawline. You’ll learn when to use each technique.
